In auto-track mode the surface grows automatically within a user specified tracking area. The tracker can be controlled by amplitude only, by a step-wise amplitude difference and by similarity (cross-correlation). The stepwise tracker first tracks the areas that have a minimal amplitude difference with the picked seeds and allows for a greater difference in subsequent steps. This results in a much better horizon which requires less editing.
In line tracking mode the user makes an interpretation on inlines and crosslines. On the elements seeds are made and in between seeds an event is tracked or interpolated.
The tracking software supports various features for editing tracked surfaces. Areas can be removed from the surface and re-tracked after picking new seed points, or changing tracking parameters. Holes in the data can be filled automatically with various interpolation algorithm.
