How to create the optimal steering volume Join us for a
Webinar on September 1 The fundamental concepts of the different
algorithms available for calculating dip-steering volumes will be explored
and illustrated by examples from different seismic data sets. We will then
discuss the effects of different algorithms, parameterization and filter
settings for several applications, including some criteria for quality
control. The problem of noise on the input data (the seismic data) and the
effect of smoothing on the output data (the Dip-Steering Cube) will be
addressed.

Dip steering applications to be covered:
(1) Dip Attribute
(2) Steering for structurally oriented attributes or filters
(3) Sequence stratigraphic interpretation system (SSIS) plugin

This webinar will be led by Friso Brouwer, the dGB expert in steering
workflow and attribute analysis.
