Dear colleague,

In the world of Harry Potter paintings and photographs are alive. In the
world of OpendTect reports come alive with PDF3D. This commercial plugin
by ARK CLS and partners Visual Technology Services allows you to capture
a 3D scene in OpendTect and to save this in PDF format. Anyone can open
the file in the free Adobe® Reader software where the user can
interactively rotate, zoom, pan and toggle elements on and off. Use
PDF3D to share your work with colleagues, managers, and partners. Bring
your technical publications to a higher level and stun your audience
with embedded PDF3D images in Powerpoint presentations.

To see how to do this in OpendTect and to learn a few tips & tricks,
please watch this (5mins) video:

http://opendtect.org/tutorials/PDF3D_Demo .

Happy viewing and best regards,

Paul de Groot.

PS. PDF3D is currently supported on Windows 32, and on Linux 32 & 64.
Windows 64 will be supported shortly. Mac OS/X is not supported.
