[OpendTect_Users] Reminder: Announcement: OpendTect Training in Enschede (Jan 30 - Feb 10, 2012)

Dear OpendTect user(s),

This is a reminder email to the earlier announcement for the upcoming 
OpendTect training in Enschede (The Netherlands). This time the training 
period has been extended to two weeks (Jan 30 till Feb 10, 2012). In the 
first week (Jan 30 - Feb 03, 2012) the participants will learn the 
world's promising workflows of OpendTect. In the second week (Feb 06 - 
Feb 10, 2012) you will be provided with a dataset to create a 
HorizonCube [read more 
<http://www.dgbes.com/index.php/articles-horizoncube.html>] and to do 
sequence stratigraphic interpretation on it. Furthermore, you are also 
encouraged to bring your own dataset in the second week.

For those who are interested in participating the training, we will 
appreciate if you make your own travel arrangements. If you need help in 
booking hotel close to your office, please do not hesitate to contact.

Dear OpendTect user,

For the following year (2012), we are organizing two OpendTect training 
courses in Enschede (The Netherlands). The first course will start on 
Jan 30 (2012) and will continue for 5-days. On the first three days, you 
will get in depth training of all aspects of OpendTect and its 
commercial plugins. On the last 2-days you will mainly work on the 
HorizonCube technology [read more

encourage you to bring your own dataset on which you can apply OpendTect 
workflows. Furthermore, you may also bring your own laptops that you may 
use throughout the 5-days training. The laptops should meet the 
following requirements:

OS: Windows (XP, Vista, 7), Linux (32, 64), Mac-OSX [1]
Memory: 4GB RAM, 15GB free disk space
A decent Graphics card.
