[Announce] OpendTect v3.0 beta now also on Windows OK

Dear colleagues,

OpendTect Windows users are advised that the annoying bug in the first
Windows release of v3.0 beta in which the graphics scene disappeared
when the scene was shifted laterally, has been fixed. A new beta version
is now available from www.opendtect.org including bug fixes on all
platforms.

We encourage users on all platforms to upgrade to this latest
development version, which is now the recommended version to use. In a
few weeks time this beta version will automatically upgrade to become
the new stable version thus replacing the current v2.4.2.
