[OpendTect_Announce] New MPSI version in OpendTect

Dear colleague,

Yesterday we announced the release of a new stable version of OpendTect
with various bug-fixes and support of ARK CLS' Spectral Bluing and
Colored Inversion plugins on Windows 32. Version 4.0.1h also features a
new release of Earthworks / ARK CLS' MPSI™ (Multi-Point Stochastic
Inversion) plugin on Linux 64, Linux 32 and Windows 32. A Windows 64-bit
version will be available for download at the end of March 2010.

MPSI™ v1.4 contains the following features and improvements:

* Net Pay Module
* Connectivity computations from datasets containing empty/null traces
* Improved Error Reporting
* Core MPSI parameters logged to OpendTect log file
* Various technical improvements

With the Net Pay module you can now compute the following from
stochastic inversion realisations or from a deterministic inversion:

* Net to Gross maps
* Net Pay maps
* P90, P50, P10 (or any other Pn) Net to Gross or Net Pay maps
* Mean and Standard Deviation Net to Gross or Net Pay maps
