[Users] 'Proc' directory missing in development version

Dear users,

If you are using a recent development version (2.5.1 or 2): there is a
problem when creating new surveys.

What is missing is the 'Proc' directory in the survey data directory. If
you have already created a new survey with one of these releases, you
should create a 'Proc' directory 'by hand' in the survey. The absence of
this directory causes problems when processing cubes, and the 'Scan
SEG-Y' has no place to put its output.

The problem is caused by emptiness of the Proc directory which caused it
to be left out of the release. That's why we added a nice 'readme.txt'
in 2.5.2a.

To avoid having to create this directory by hand for every new survey,
you can do one of the following:

* Create a 'Proc' directory by hand in the OpendTect installation
directory, subdirectory data/BasicSurvey (that directory is copied when
a new survey is created). On windows, the location is probably
\Program Files\OpendTect\data\BasicSurvey

* Download and install a new version (if you are using 2.5.1 you should
do that anyway)

* UNIX only, v2.5.2: Install the following patch (using inst_pkgs.od):
ftp://ftp.opendtect.org/pub/tmp/patch_procdir.base.opendtect-2.5.2.tar.gz

Sorry for the inconvenience.
