Hello Jhonny, it is easy to work with OD, I recommend you work in Windows rather than Linux if you are a beginner. There is no problem if you have you 2D seismic lines in parallel, you can use the 2D-import approach for that. I think you have problems in the "bytes" issue, you should use 9 (fldr) for in-line byte, 21 (CDP) for the cross-line byte, 73 or 81 (sx) for X-coord byte and 77 or 85 (sy) for Y-coord byte. You should examine your seismic line (header) at least 5 traces. If you plan to map some horizons manually, I think you do not need extra plugins.
