Dear Mohamed,

1) You can save your processed data in SEG-Y format, and for this you
need to convert your cbvs prestack data by exporting it to SEG-Y. This
function has been added very recently, and you will only find in the
latest development release 4.1.0d. It is located in the survey menu
under Export --> Seismics --> SEG-Y --> Pre-Stack 3D.

2) It is not yet possible to perform AVO modelling (including the
creation of synthetic gathers) in OpendTect. We do however offer this
work as a service, since this module is present in our software GDI. We
do have plan to convert it to OpendTect plugins, providing commitment
from sponsors. Two main plugins remain to be converted: A forward
modelling plugin for sensitivity analysis, and a pseudo-well modelling
plugin, for rock properties prediction.

Best regards,
Arnaud Huck.
