[OpendTect_Users] Features

First of all congratulation on progress so far:

 

Just throwing out my vote for features I would like to see in opensource
Opendtect.

 

An interface to allowing direct import export of data between Excel and
Opendtect. So you can edit all  Opendtect objects in Excel eg wavelets,
logs, polygons etc. etc.

 

Ability to display an image(bitmap or Vector) on an arbitrary section
usable in both the 2D and 3D views.

 

A link into Rapidminer, or maybe just a tutorial on building links into
complimentary packages, as SGeMS would also be an interesting link?

 

Some 2D forward modelling tools,  the old spline based GXII used to make
nice synthetics quickly.
