[OpendTect_Developers] What is the actual state of the project?

Hi Júlio, hi all,

The aim of this developers mailint list is to share information between
all OpendTect developers: the 13 OpendTect builders from dGB Earth
Sciences as well as people from universities, E&P companies and 3^rd
party vendors who plan to use OpendTect to develop plugins, either for
their own usage, or free for the entire community of users or even for
sale. The idea is to share tips and tricks around plugin development,
provide insight on a particular workflow or on the usage of a new class
for instance...
This would be of course great to have a lot of people from different
horizons posting continuously on various subjects but there are periods
when the list is very actively used with lively discussions between
developers and sometimes it is more quiet. When it becomes quiet, we
(from dGB) try to keep it alive by posting regularly (weekly in an ideal
world, less often when we are busy like it is now with the version 4.2
on its way) on different issues which we think could be of interest for
the whole community.
If you want to contribute you are of course very welcome!

Best regards,
Helene
