Dear all,

This is in continuation to Otelindo's post. Let me make a correction 
first. In OpendTect 3.1.7, only prestack 3D data is supported as input 
and output for the Madagascar link. Actually, Otelindo has been testing 
OD 3.2 for weeks now, which indeed supports all data type options 
mentioned in the user interface.

Further, you need to install the Madagascar package yourself (see 
http://rsf.sourceforge.net) and set the RSFROOT variable to the 
installation directory. In order to get the full UI, you also need to 
ensure that the text doc is installed. You can do it with:

$RSFROOT/bin/sfdoc -t $RSFROOT/doc/txt
