Dear Victor,

There is an excellent SEGY trace viewer when you import your data under OpendTect.
If your headers are not documented then nobody can help you. Ask to whom produced the data.
I strongly advise to have OdT 4.4 because the new manipulation option is just genius and will inform you a lot about your data.

Unfortunately, data loading is not always a straight-forward process and is time-consuming (on any platform).

I am not sure how to review SEGY header data in OpendTect, but I had some issues with a 2D project and I used a program called Seis-View to check out header data and be sure it was defined correctly for import to OpendTect. I'm sure you can check trace header info within the program though.
