Horizon and Fault Tracking

Join us for a Webinar on February 6
Our next webinar will focus on basic seismic interpretation using
OpendTect; the mapping of seismic horizons and faults.

OpendTect has a complete set of tools for interpretation under the GPL
license, including manual tracking, auto-tracking, QC and
post-interpretation editing. In addition, the Dip Steering and
HorizonCube plugins enable a set of advanced horizon tracking tools,
that use the seismic dip as basis or additional constraint. This expands
the use of auto-tracking to areas with discontinuous seismic reflectors,
where the character of the seismic dip field can be used to propagate
horizons.

The webinar will provide you with a guided tour, illustrated with short
demonstrations, through the various tools and will provide you with more
insights and skills on how to interpret horizons and faults using
OpendTect.

Please join Eric Bouanga on Feb 6, 2013, who will show you in more
details how to quickly and efficiently do the mapping of 2D/3D seismic
data in OpendTect.
