Well there you go. Why use old stuff from 4.3.1 when you can use 4.4.0? 
Using a 'development' version only makes sense if its version is higher 
than the current stable release. The idea is that you follow the latest 
developments, right? Well, for now they are in 4.4.0 ... When 4.5.0 is 
released you could try that.

For now: get 4.4.0 and try again.
