Dear All,
ARK CLS is pleased to announce that that a beta version of the Workstation Access plugin that provides connectivity to Landmark R5000 is now available.
All previously supported 2003.12 data types are also supported in the R5000 version (3D/2D seismic traces import/export; 3D/2D horizons import/export; 3D faults import/export and wells import). This beta continues to provide connectivity to Landmark 2003.12. The plugin will automatically provide the correct connectivity type based on the detected environment.
Download from:-
ftp://ftp.opendtect.org/pub/devel/pkgs/arkcls/R5000/lux64.arkcls.opendtect-4.1.1.tar.gz
The version of Landmark OpenWorks supported is R5000.0.2. The plugin has been built on 64-bit RHEL 4.6 but will also run on RHEL 5.x machines. R5000 connectivity is not supported on 32-bit machines.
To use this R5000 beta the following restrictions and caveats apply:-
* use of the plugin is on the understanding this is a beta version
* available only for OpendTect 4.1.1
* plugs in with other ARK CLS plugins from this release package
* does not have updated documentation
* not tested for connectivity with GeoFrame
A full release is planned for the end of the month that will work with the production version of OpendTect (4.0.1x), will work with Landmark R5000, 2003.12 and GeoFrame and will have updated documentation.
Regards...
Tony Benn
